The heat brought on an explosion of colour this week in the flowers. I can’t believe that already some varieties are done like the early blooming species L. Pumilum and the shade-loving turks-cap martagon lilies.

Brave Maia, a short peach Lilyfield introduction from last summer is still going strong as well as Devilled Eggs.

The mid-seasons are in full bloom and I am looking forward to dabbing pollen and recording crosses as I dream up lilies for the future.
Speaking of the future, some of them are already coming into the picture! Crosses made with Flickertail are fantastically spotted!

I love sharing this experience with as many people as possible, we are in the middle of nowhere. If you want to come and see the flowers, take pictures, walk around, plan an order, or purchase lilies and daylilies, please contact me. We will be open Wednesday July 22 through Wednesday July 29, 2026, by appointment. Cheryl 306 858 7191.

If you just want to be a self-guided wanderer and don’t need any digging, feel free to come by anytime for that week.
Ordering is open on-line for across Canada, lily bulbs will be mailed and available for local pick-up in September and October.
Finally, there are special introductions for 2026 including our unusual coral-pink lily, Across the Desert.
