Spring Lake (LF, 2020)

(LF 2020)  15 flowers, upfacing, medium height 1.04m or 3.4 ft, mid-season.

This deep red lily was selected in 2016. A stand-out in the garden it forms a nice clump, but not too quickly.  With an average of 15 flowers per bulb, it will span the height of bloom season. Clear red with deeper red towards the center. From well known prairie parents Coppertone and Sungod.
Long lasting blooms, Spring Lake will give a long bloom season. Additionally, Spring Lake often has flowers with extra petals, pictured.

Named for the local lake in the middle of pastureland where many learned to swim with bloodsuckers.
