Float Away doesn’t have a care in the world. She works hard, turning the same beautiful face to the sun each day. With a light orange base she has a darker orange eye. Float Away is one of the most consistent blooms in the garden. She is a cousin to Wildly Content, so expect that nice round form and many, many flowers.
Float Away makes flowering look easily. She will open up nice in the morning and her petals will recurve to create a charming bloom. Hot days? She doesn’t care, her blooms will fade to a slightly softer orange and still be beautiful at the end of the day. Float Away has scapes with good branching that creates a nice high budcount.
Named for a favourite place to stop in at the lake when it is super hot out. There usually isn’t anyone around, just hills, sand and sky. Picking out shapes in the clouds while floating in the water or sitting on the beach, it is the perfect hiding place during the heat of August.
