Flickertail’s creamy yellow petals supply the backdrop for an explosion of burgundy spots radiating from the flower’s centre. Garden named “Gopher” for years and used in our breeding program, it is finally time for a proper name and new homes.
Standing at three feet tall it is nice garden plant that will fill in a spot in a well-behaved manner and provide visual interest from a distance. Hardy out in the garden zone 3 field, it has also done well in the more enclosed house garden.
Flickertail is a little different from our recent introductions and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
