Flowers of this big yellow with a changing red-burgundy-purple eye twist and turn on strong stems. Chicken Scratch is a cheery flower that will brighten any garden. If flowers had personalities it would be one that doesn’t take itself to seriously.
Chicken Scratch has been thriving for years out in the field and has great branching which leads to high budcount and increase how long it blooms during the summer. These flowers have great substance, they last well and keep their colour throughout hot days. Like Surf To Shore it has a unique form that can look different each day. I’ve tried to include enough pictures to give an idea of its changing faces.
