Come and wander the lilies and daylilies near Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan. Located 7 Km west of Lucky Lake on Highway 42. Reddish house on North side of highway on a hill. July 31 to August 2, dates added, time and weather permitting. Text, call or Facebook message Cheryl to set up a time that works for you.

Take pictures, get pollen on your clothes and try to snare a gopher.

Prices

Sunflower and lily stems are $5, plants are $20 backyard garden, $40 clumps in field garden. Cash, cheque, e-transfer or credit cards.

What to expect.

Lilyfield is a hybridizing garden near Lake Diefenbaker in the heart of the Canadian praries. We create new varieties of daylilies and lilies. There aren’t any landscaped beds, it is just rows and rows of flowers.

Come tour the gardens, ask questions, get inspired and take pictures.

No washrooms on site, washrooms are available in Lucky Lake at the Co-op gas station.

Purchasing

There are sales beds of daylilies and lilies available for purchase as well as many seedlings (hybridized by Cheryl but not named or registered). The price is $20 to $40 each, cash, cheque, e-transfer.

Places to visit : Lucky Lake – Birsay – Demaine – Riverhurst Ferry

The Co-op has washrooms, snacks and fuel. To sit down for a meal, visit the Demaine Hotel or Birsay Kitchen. Plan to take a ride on the Riverhurst Ferry.
