Before Lilyfield Farm was a thought, I was experimenting with the best ways to grow seeds, plant daylilies and lilies, photograph and hybridize. Saline soils, diseased flowers, drought, faded labels and poor germination have encouraged the steady exploration of the care of these beautiful plants.
